VFW Post 8337 Liberty Grove Wisconsin salutes our friend and comrade John Mahoney

Tribute By: Patty Mahoney (Click here)

John was the proud grandfather of seven; Monica (Floyd) Spaulding; Megan (Jon) Bahr; Tom (Cecile) Mahoney; Mike and Patrick Foerster; Catie and Maggie Carter.
At our Christmas party December 15, 2007 John pointed out a need for sheets on the front lines. So, typical for John we launched a mission to send 70 white single sheets to Iraqi before the end of January.

Mission Accomplished!

"John E. Mahoney was one of the first members of Liberty Grove - VFW Post 8337. Chartered in March 1985, John joined our ranks in July. He never wavered in his service to his fellow vets, community or country. He was a true leader in our post. We're going to miss his energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to the Good-of-the-Order!"
