Debriefing:
"Operation Iraqi Cover-up" hit the ground running
December 5, 2007 and didn't rest until all missions
where accomplished.
At our
Christmas party December 5 our Homeland Security
coordinator, John Mahoney - Air Force
informed us that ground troops in Iraq where in need of bedding.
Quartermaster Lee Burnett - Navy retired, took command
negotiating with Wal-Mart to split the cost for 70
single-sheets. Sheets ordered on 12-18 where received on
12-28.
Burnett than
devised a repackaging and shipping plan with that
reduced shipping costs from $20 a box of 6 sheets to
$8.95.
Mahoney than lead
a squad the night of 1-4-08 that repackaged the sheets
and trucked them to Sturgeon Bay where
at 0900 hours on 1-5-08 they where to an APO (Army Post
Office) on the east coast. From there they were
flown to Bagdad Iraq for trucking by armored convey to
troops in the field. Click
here a briefing on
supply-line changes needed to get mouthwash to the
