You'll most often see Veterans on Memorial Day, marching in parades, supporting fund raisers at Festivals and honoring fallen comrades at funerals, but in fact veterans are on-duty 24/7 and 365 days a year. Joint-operations include VFW, American Legion, AMVET, Marine Corp League, and a host of veteran organization from across the country. All veterans are encouraged to join the veteran organization of their choice and take an active role in the future of their community and country. Al Qaida has vowed to strike our homeland. The call has gone out for our veterans to once again come to the aid and defense of our country.
